Raw chocolate bar

Raw chocolate bar

When summer comes I start looking into making more raw food recipes. It is more appealing to me and they are cooling and help reduce inflammation. This recipe is easy and combines raw ingredients and sweet flavor that is good for pacifying Pita which is aggravated in the summer for a wining combination.

In aryuveda, Pita is the ruling dosha for the summer. It is important to follow guidelines that consider this. If you are new to these concepts, see my post that gives an introduction to some ayurvedic guidelines for the summer.
