Getting rid of nasty freeloaders
I am doing parasite cleanse and many of my friends ask me, do you have parasites? well, hate to break it to you, we all do! If you eat a lot of fresh produce that is not washed properly, swim on the lake, have digestion issues, play with pets, and travel abroad among a few things… you might have a little infestation happening.
How do I know if I have them?
There are some clinical tests but they are not very reliable as you have to catch the buggers at a certain point of their life cycle. Also, there are only test for stool samples but what about the blood? yes, they can be in your blood too…
There is a sure test for tapeworms… the name comes a little self-test that you can practice by putting a piece of tape in the anal orifice. They come out at night to lay their eggs and that is why it itches. When you pull the tape in the morning, you will find your proof.
If you have any of these symptoms, you might be hosting an invasion of these unwelcome guests:
- Diarrhea
- Indigestion, gas, or bloating
- Allergies recently developed
- Frequent colds or flu
- Feeling hungry all the time
- Anal itching specially at night
- Weight loss or unable to gain weight
- Bowel movements changeable
How do I prevent from getting an infestation?
There are several easy measures that you can practice to keep these buggers from away in the first place.
- Hand washing and proper personal hygiene
- Thorough washing of produce
- Protect food from dirt and soil
- Safe stool disposal
- Frequent changing of linens
- No scratching (spreads the eggs)
- Wearing shoes
But the most important measure of all is to make sure that your first line of defense is working properly! Many of us suffer from low Hydrochloric acid due to our refined foods intake and drinking chlorinated water among among other factors. Hydrochloric acid is the primary acid in the stomach. It helps maintained the optimal pH in the stomach and therefore your first line of defense against germs, bacteria, and parasites. How do you know if you are low in hydrochloric acid? an easy test is to take a tablespoon of vinegar when you feel heartburn. If it alleviates the symptoms, then you have low acid. If it aggravates the symptoms, then you have too much acid and drinking water with half a teaspoon will subside it.
Fortunately, you can remedy the low acid issue. A table spoon of apple cider vinegar with water taken 30 min. before your meal promotes the production of hydrochloric acid. If the issue is more severe, then you need supplementation and you should consult your friendly holistic nutritionist.
Can I kill them with diet?
There are foods that have anti-parasitic and antimicrobial properties and others that help boost the immune system to fight these buggers such as:
- Raw pumpkin seeds
- Garlic, onions, and radishes
- Raw cabbage and kelp
- Pomegranates
- Coconut and coconut water
- Almonds, beets, blackberries, carrots, and figs
How do I do a parasite cleanse?
You can use some home remedies such as garlic and cod live oil a couple of times a year. However, if you have a lot of the symptoms and digestion issues, you might have to resort to stronger treatments.
Thankfully, there are many parasite kits in the market. I have used Paragone from CNC and Paraway cleanse. Just make sure you use two kits and take a week break between kits. Why? because the first round kills the buggers but they might have left eggs behind… and you want to catch them in the second round.
I did not feel major discomfort during the cleanse but I don’t drink alcohol or caffeinated drinks… I think you need to try to reduce those to a minimum before you start the cleanse. You should avoid dairy and legumes while doing the cleanse and follow a wholesome diet that includes anti-parasitic foods. Most kits include information about what to eat as well.
You must ensure that you drink lots of water and over 30 g of fiber. You have to keep your bowels moving and elimination working well. This is extremely important. Also, take probiotics and follow an alkaline diet.
If you decide to try a cleanse, let me hear from you and your experience.
Why should I do a parasite cleanse?
Well, aside from getting relieve from the symptoms and getting a great-looking skin, parasites produce nasty toxins… and the accumulation of those toxins can lead to disease or worsen other ailments.
Maintaining these creatures in check is key to good health and holistic bliss.
